Middlesbrough Beauty and Decay

Oil painting of Middlesbrough, with Rosemary Topping in the background. I have the river Tees running into the pond in Central Middlesbrough, to represent the connections to nature and decay throughout Middlesbrough. The border of the canvas are made from twigs I found around Middlesbrough including the rubbish in the pond. There is a Heron standing on an old tyer and a family of Swans. You can see the Bottle of Notes and the Transporter Bridge in the background.
